This weekend I was proud to join the team at Carson's International Printing Museum Luddite Players. The Museum hosts an annual weekend long Dickens Christmas Celebration, complete with hot cider and a performance of "A Christmas Carol." I joined the team as Nancy from "Oliver Twist" teaching visitors how to use a 19th-c. galley press, on which they could print their own copies of "The Night Before Christmas."
It was both a great acting experience and a chance to learn about the history of printing and how to use a Victorian printing press. I'm looking forward to hopefully joining them again in the future.
